MEET THE COMPOSER
WORKSHOPS

Edward Kennedy regularly conducts workshops with school and community ensembles,
including ‘Meet the Composer Workshops’ with school bands and he is available to come to
your school or community ensemble. These workshops can be tailor made to suit your
ensemble or music programme.

The typical format of the ‘Meet the Composer’ workshops is a 40 minute to one hour
rehearsal on repertoire including some of Ed’s compositions with the ensemble, followed by
a 30 minute Q and A session where ensemble members have the opportunity to ask the
composer questions about his music and his inspirations for his compositions. Here are
