The Spirit Lives (Hard Copy)

The Spirit Lives is a programmatic overture in three movements, ‘Call to War’, ‘In Reflection’ and ‘The Spirit Lives’. It was commissioned by Wynnum State High School, Queensland for their 80th Anniversary in 2022. The work was inspired by a plaque that is placed in Memorial Avenue next to the school, which reads: 100 years of Anzac - The Spirit Lives. This plaque is one of many throughout the memorial gardens and is a permanent tribute to those Australian soldiers who died in world one, and all wars since.
